After reading the wonderful article that was published by my local newspaper the excitement was squashed. On line people are able to comment about the issues that are published on a daily basis. To my surprise an extremely bitter and angry woman made a post that was...lets just say NOT NICE! She basically focused on what someone sees and not the substance of the person. She decided to personally attack me and my causes so much to the point that she wished I got cancer and wished that I would hurry up and get it so I could fight for my own personal cause.
I am saddened that someone would have so much hate in their heart to attack someone they don't even know who is trying to do something good in the world not based on how she looks but actually on their merit, love, and drive to make a difference in others lives. It amazes me that assumptions are made by others who have no idea how hard you have worked to be where you are or what type of upbringing you had.
I definately did not have a childhood that was beautiful like a rainbow and I was surely picked on my fare share.
I feel sorry for this person in that she is raising a daughter and has so much bitterness in her heart. I don't care how much you dislike something or someone, you never wish ill will.
Lesson learned, there are always going to be people to take shots at you whether you are on top or at the bottom. It's those that you surround yourself with that matter and that truly care to know the person you really are.
For all of my sister queens; I hope you never have to read such an item as I did!
Hugs,
JC

Jessica, Your gracious nature will serve as a testament to those whose hearts are heavy with anger. Continue to shine and know that you are a beacon for so many. As I watch my dearest childhood friend battle breast cancer, I know you are out there trying to make the world a better place for people like my friend.

Chin up beautiful! Those of us that know and love you, know how wonderful you are and what a big heart you have. With each smile you offer and each kind word you share, someone's life will be touched and that makes all the difference to that one person. Your radiance is bright and is meant to be shared!
ReplyDeleteMuch love and kindness,
Rebecca
