Way too long!

Well it's been way too long since I've blogged about anything for that matter. So I figured it's time for an update. I'm currently working on booking events and speaking engagements for my year as America's 30's. I do have to say that it has been more challenging than I originally anticipated. I think that it's just a matter timing and once people see me out ther hopefull they will think of me for their upcoming event.

As for family life, my son played his first pee wee game last Saturday. They picked a team name which is the "Blue Ants", so cute! I loved seeing all the little munchkins running around with their soccer shoes, shin guards, and socks chasing the ball. Little man was the goalie for the first part of the game where he managed his first save. The second half of the game he was in the field. He almost scored and was so disappointed when the ball just missed the net. All I have to say is that I love being a mom and experiencing these 1st's whith my son.

He also got to ride his first horse when we stopped in to my brothers barn. It was so cute to see my brother (who does not have any children) interact with my son. I literally think that they were cut from the same cloth! LOL!

I'm also looking forward to going home to visit family! I can't wait to see my father-in-law even though he is having a rough time of it with his chemo treatment that he just came off of. I don't know if I would be strong enough to handle what he has handle so far. I can tell you that I'm going to give him the biggest hug and kiss when I see him because I don't know if it will be my last. O.K. this is officially depressing and can I say offically SUCKS!

I'm going to be visiting with friends, having my official crown and banner photos taken, and taking my son and neice to the Tigers Game. It will be Trae's first professional baseball game so it's going to be exciting. We're going to be right down in front too just outside the Tigers dugout!!!
Woo Hoo!

Well, it's TTFN for now and I will make sure that it isn't so long before I post next time.

Hugs,
JC
