Possible New Face of Reforma

To my delight I was asked to try the new anti aging products by Reforma Group based in Southfield, Michigan by a good friend Tom Morse (The Guru of bringing new great products to the store shelves) and the founder. I'm currently conducting my review of the products and will know if you'll be seeing me in the National Campaign soon! I've been using the products for 2 weeks and can already see a difference! I typically have darker spots under my eyes, which have almost disappeared by using their eye gel! The facial moisturizer is amazing too. Not sticky, not thick, and definitely not oily! Even better, the products are paraben free!!! Gotta love that. I'll be sure to keep you posted with news.STAY TUNED!

Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundation's Christmas Event-December 13, 2009

On December 13th I had the opportunity to attend the Don Ferrarese Charitable Foundations Christmas Event. There were many familiar faces in attendance including Mr. Ferrarese who presented Mr. Dan Tate and his family with a plaque in appreciation for all of his hard work with the organization.

There were many speeches in appreciation given at the event and there was one particular quote that stood out in my mind that really hit home. "Out on the sea you cannot control the water or the wind but you can set your sails for the end goal!" I love this quote because it really hits home. No matter what your circumstances may be and how many detours life may throw you, with determination and dedication you will always end up where you are meant to be!

The event was a success, and the food and company were FIRST CLASS!

Pageant Cast Take 2 - December 9th, 2009

This evening I had the wonderful opportunity to catch up with one of my favorite pageant guru's....Tim Kretchman! It's always great to catch up and see whats new in the world of pageantry and hear about the interesting and accomplished women he's had the opportunity of interviewing!

I was honored to have yet another interview with Tim where we chatted about what was new as America's 30's and what I'm looking forward to. Stay tunes and I'll be sure to post the new pageant cast when it airs in January 2010!!!!

As the great Tim would say...."TIARA DREAMS!"

Walk In Her Shoes - October 24th, 2009

Early Saturday morning was an absolutely sunny and beautiful day, and a perfect day to help with the Walk In Her Shoes event, which benefits the High Desert Domestic Violence Program. I had the opportunity to meet Daryll Evey who runs the program here in the high desert.

It was great to see so many familiar faces and also new faces who came out to support such a great cause. I had the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Apple Valley and Hesperia, as well as many council men and council women who were happy to come out in support of the Domestic Violence Program.

It was great to see such good sportsmanship when the Mayors and Council Men and Council Women were asked to sport their fancy heels for the Walk In Her Shoes. I do have to say that I don't think I've ever seen this group wear heels so well!!! (From left to right: Mayor of Hesperia, Thurston "Smitty" Smith, Mayor of Apple Valley, Rick Roelle, Victorville City Council Man, Ryan McEachron, City of Apple Valley Council Woman, Ginger Coleman).
I had the opportunity to head the one mile walk in her shoes....and yes, I sported the heels all the way!
The walk ended with an awards presentation for each of the races that took place that day, where I was delighted to hand out certificates and trophies to the many impressive athletes that came out for the event. After all the awards were handed out everyone enjoyed tasting chili for the Apple Valley Rotary Chili Cook Off! I definitely had my share and my share of other yummy goodies at the cook off.
Yet another event that I am proud and honored to have been a part of!

Make-A-Wish Foundation

On October 10th my son and I decided to roll out of bed and join all of the supporters for the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Pancake Breakfast to benefit Riverside and Orange Counties at the local Apple Bee's. I was pleseantly surprised when I walked in the door to see familiar faces in support of the event. Trae and I had a great mommy and son breakfast date and definately ate too much! Breakfast is our favorite meal.

About a week later I participated in the 1st annual Make-A-Wish golf tournament at the Spring Valley Lake Country Club. I assisted in selling raffle tickets at the event and had the opportunity to chat with a few great individuals who make the Make-A-Wish Foundation possible in Riverside and Orange counties.

I was so inspired by the work and the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation that I chose to join the cause! I'm definitely looking forward to volunteering and wish granting in the near future since I completed my volunteer and wish granter training this past Saturday! How awesome to be part of something unbelievably amazing!
